Heatlh Alert - COVID-19
The Parks and Recreation Department's primary concern is the health and safety of our members, program participants, staff, and their families. In accordance, the following measures are currently in effect.

The playground and pavilion at Fire Truck Park have re-opened!
The City of Southside Place is pleased to announce that the playground at Fire Truck Park is open as of Wednesday, October 14th. Note that playground equipment, gates, and furniture are not routinely disinfected; use of playground equipment will be at your own risk. Please continue practicing social distancing and follow personal safety guidelines while visiting the parks.
The clubhouse and basketball courts remain closed at this time. Pavilion and deck rentals have resumed, provided that groups are limited to 10 people. The clubhouse will be open for voting on Election Day, November 3rd. Visit https://harrisvotes.com for more information on voting.

The Clubhouse has temporarily closed and all activities are suspended in effort to protect the public and limit the spread of COVID-19.
Renters will be refunded in full. If you have any questions or concerns, please call 832-509-4642 or check the website for updated information. No new reservations will be accepted or approved at this time.
The Southside Place City Pool is open for lap swimming through October 31st.
As of May 1, 2020 the tennis courts re-opened.
As of October 14th, 2020 the playground and pavilion re-opened.
Pavilion and deck rentals have resumed, provided that groups are limited to 10 people.
Basketball courts will remain closed until further notice per county orders.

Make Reservations Online!
We are pleased to announce that you may now check availability and request reservations online for the Southside Place Clubhouse, Pavilion, and Tennis Courts. There are links provided here as well as from the home page and within the Parks and Recreation Department.
Residents who do not currently hold a season pass can visit the website to create an account and apply for a season pass for the coming year. Residency is determined by address and to be able to receive the resident rates for rentals, you must create an account.
With an active account you will not only be able to reserve facilities, but you will be able to annually renew your season pass and register for summer camp and swim team when it becomes available for the summer season.
*As of January 1, 2020 there will be a 3.5% convenience fee for all online payments.*

The Parks Department shall strive to enhance the living experience of the City of Southside Place by providing both public and private facilities for which our citizens will be proud and which help serve the needs of our community, to provide a safe play environment, and constructive and creative leisure opportunities for our children and families, to oversee the measured development and continued maintenance of the park and its facilities, while operating in a cost effective, fiscally responsible manner.
